Is anyone reminded of the black knight from Monty Python’s Holy Grail when thickshades talks?
He thinks he’s pwning you so hard… it’s frustrating because he won’t just lie down die already!

Well, I deconverted after 50 yrs as a Xian bcuz I saw no truth in Xianity! I just hadn’t got honest with myself until I decided to make a move! I decided to study scripture, but this time, from cover to cover. That cinched it for me! I had no choice about it. I just saw no evidence for the Xian god, and what I read in scripture, demonstrated an evil being who violated his own laws & commandments!
This is classic circular argument, “Christians CAN’T give up their faith, therefore if you are an apostate or an atheist you were never a Christian, q.e.d.” At least the Muslims are honest about it; they acknowledge the possibility and punish apostacy with death.
