What should I do with my stamp collection?

Question by DudeMute: What should I do with my stamp collection?
I’ve got a stamp collection I’ve been holding on to since I was a kid. It has many rare foreign stamps and several “first day of issue”. It has been added to by other people over the years, like one of my grandpas who contributed several very old stamps with letters and envelopes from WW2! Everything is at least 25 years old and in MINT condition.

Here’s my problem. I don’t know what it’s worth anymore and I have nobody to give it to that will appreciate it. I was thinking a museum? Anybody got any ideas on this one?

you should get an appraisal for it and see if you can get it to go up for auction on ebay or something like that. You know, kind of what they do on that show where they show you how much people’s things are worth.

hang onto it esp with the economy like it is now. I would have it enclosed in a glass case and mounted for the time being.
